Provide ongoing leadership and coordination for a comprehensive program for responding to students who exhibit behavioral concerns. Offer professional development for faculty and staff in this area, establishing relationships with community agencies and providers who can provide mental health services not offered by the College. Represent the College in state and national initiatives to address threat assessment and student behavior.

As Dean of Students, this position serves as the chief student services officer for the campus, leading and managing services that promote engagement and student success among a diverse student population: counseling, admissions and records, financial aid, veterans’ services, disability services, student life activities, career services, outreach activity. Reporting directly to the campus Provost, the Dean manages 30+ full time and 15+ part time staff, prepares and maintains the Student Development budgets, and enforces College policies on a campus with 14,000 headcount and 6,000 full-time equivalent students.
